By accessing or using Listen (“the Service”), operated by Waypoint Innovation LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Listen is a guided reflection app for small groups. Users form circles of friends, receive daily prompts over a five-day cycle, and share reflections with their circle via text or audio recordings. The Service is provided free of charge.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Listen. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms.
You sign in to Listen using Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us immediately at hello@trytolisten.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of the reflections, audio recordings, and responses you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Service — specifically, to share your reflections with members of your circle.
You also grant us the right to use anonymized, aggregated versions of User Content (with all personally identifiable information removed) for research and product improvement. We will never publicly attribute specific reflections to you without your explicit consent.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
Your use of Listen is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
The Listen name, logo, design, and underlying code are the property of Waypoint Innovation LLC. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding or intellectual property except as needed to use the Service.
You may stop using Listen at any time. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at hello@trytolisten.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Listen is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Listen is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or mental health services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint Innovation LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Listen. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, as a free service, is $0).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of Listen after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@trytolisten.com.
